With all the talk in the news these days about refugees – on the southern border – from Afghanistan – coming to America – arriving across water to places in Europe… Is there anything a person in the suburbs of Chicago can do that will make a difference???

The Bible is pretty clear – YES!  There are many ways we can welcome the stranger, cloth and feed those in need. 

This Adult Ed. Session will be led by Linda Street, the chair of the Refugee Ministry at Grace Lutheran and Fair Oaks. It will focus on the work already underway and will discuss the RefugeeOne program in Chicago and the requirements to become a Co-sponsor.
