All are invited to join us as we welcome Rev. Janet MacLean as our guest speaker. Rev. MacLean is a an ordained UCC minister, currently serving as the System Director of Clinical Pastoral Education for Advocate Health Care. As a board-certified chaplain she has specialized in pediatrics, perinatal, pediatric and adult bereavement, ethics and group process. In addition she has volunteered for over 25 years with the international grassroots human rights organization Amnesty International, for whom she has facilitated international, multilingual decision-making meetings, and she is currently a trustee of Chicago Theological Seminary.

Janet is also long-time member of Pilgrim and active participant in the the Chicago Metropolitan Association of the Illinois Conference of the UCC. We look forward to hearing her perspective and sharing in a discussion of the history, beliefs and diversity of our denomination. Please join us!
