Queer Theology 101: Jesus and Queer Embodiment

The doctrine of incarnation places great significance on Jesus as being “differently embodied,” and therefore inherently queer. (Nothing about Jesus is “normal”!) Why does this matter? It points us toward a more liberating concept of our own embodiment that should shape our self-awareness of how we’re all made to be “fully human, fully divine” regardless how we identify.
