Sunday Adult Enrichment: "Blackness & Faith in Conversation": A Brief Introduction To Black Liberation Theology

What does it mean to be Black and Christian for a people situated in the midst of American racism and called by God to be full human beings?

Black theology of liberation arose from the Black church as a Christian movement for the transformation of personal and systemic power-relations in American society. But its influence is not limited to Black people; it also impacts the way traditional theology is done throughout the world.

All are welcome to join in this discussion, which will be led by Rev. Gloria Cox.
