Please join us as Dr. David Brodnax Sr. leads us in an exploration of the origins of the black church, shaped by West and Central African theology and forged in the oppression of American slavery, up through emancipation, Reconstruction and post-Reconstruction, the early 20th century, the Civil Rights Movement, and recent decades. David is a professor of History at Trinity Christian College and a member of the Pilgrim community.
