As we continue our Bible Study of the Gospel of Luke we will examine the historic text to both understand it’s original context and to listen for how it might speak to us today in our present circumstances.

For Lesson 5, our text is Luke 19:44-23:49. This section deals with the week that Jesus spent in Jerusalem leading up to and through his arrest, trial and execution. We will see that Luke tells familiar stories differently and includes stories that other Gospels don’t.
