What becomes of our faith when trauma overwhelms our lives? What carries meaning for us in the aftermath? This month, we’re blessed to have Rev. Dr. Zachary Moon, acclaimed author on trauma and theology and associate professor at Chicago Theological Seminary, leading our discussions. Starting with Mark 16:1-8, where the disciples react to the resurrection, we examine how faithful folks responded to the traumatic loss of Jesus, its impact on their lives and community. Once again, ancient narratives hold keys to help us with our own stories.
