The Exodus saga concludes with a flurry of activity, with all of the community’s commitments becoming realities: the Divine’s dwelling is constructed, the priests get suited up, and God’s presence arrives on cue. Thus begins our tradition’s enduring love of houses of worship as testaments of God’s covenantal partnership with us as we travel our individual and collective paths. (Ex. 35-40)
