As a lovely coda to the sound and fury of implementing new Laws and communal expectations for justice and peacekeeping, the community’s leaders gather on Mt. Sinai to share a covenant picnic in God’s presence. Following their lead, we take a moment to reflect on the journey so far, and consider how word, work, and worship intersect. (Ex. 24)
