The Exodus saga is the foundational narrative of two great faiths, Judaism and Christianity. It is also the prototype for liberation movements everywhere. Its centrality comes from the commanding way it maps a people’s progress, starting when the Hebrew slaves cry “No more!” That’s where we’ll start our summer travels with Moses and Company. (Ex. 1-2)
