People of the Book: Islam in Asia

Islam’s spread in Asia followed the footsteps of Christianity. Both faiths presented a “plan of salvation” to peoples with very little if any experience with Abrahamic concepts like monotheism and discipleship. How did Muslim faith and culture take root in Asia? In ways very similar to Christianity’s inroads into the region: through conquest. We tell that story while looking at several other prophets common to the Abrahamic faiths.
