People of the Book: Islamic Culture

As the Islam continued to spread, its culture made deeper impact around the world. At the same time, Muslim theologians and teachers were engaging their Jewish and Christian counterparts in ways that significantly altered Abrahamic thought. As we look more deeply at how this worked, we also read what the Quran says about David, whom Muslims regard as a prophet and whose monarchial character informs their political thought.
