Doubt as Dissent

As we mature in our faith, we do more than become comfortable with doubt. We come to value its benefits. Moving from simple or “childlike” faith (which many trumpet as the ultimate faith expression, when it’s not) and through complexities of belief, we inevitably bump into perplexity. How does this faith business really work? At this stage, a healthy set of doubts is a blessing. This week we’re all about doubt as necessary resistance.
