In the language of Romans 12, the Apostle Paul identifies “spiritual worship” as the “self given over to well-being of the neighbor.” This idea is antithetical to consumerism, privatism, and individualism that plague society, often at the expense of other bodies. As Christians, we gather around the body of Christ made present in the Eucharist. How does that shape how we understand and care for our bodies? How does this affect the way we relate to one another?
