The gift of the Holy Spirit is repeatedly seen as a radical force that moves us toward unconditional inclusion and radical love. From the moment she enters the Church’s story she compels the Jesus community to throw away labels and kick down boundaries and refuse to bow to social constructs like gender, class, and ethnicity that create inequities and isolate individuals. (She’s not having it!)
