Caesar’s Things/God’s Demands: Imagery and Imagination

Jesus talked about money all the time: business practices, labor relations, taxation, inheritanceand property rights, charity, even going so far to scrutinize religious giving rituals and policies.He told stories that lampooned greedy and stingy people. He took a dim view of symbols meantto solidify wealth and power (including the Jerusalem Temple). Instead, he challenged hispeople to imagine abundant life. How/why has this idea got lost in today’s Christian mindset?
