CRS invites us to join them in reflecting on the lives of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Bayard Rustin. Rustin was an unsung hero of the civil rights struggle, mentor to Martin Luther King, Jr., and architect of the March on Washington. He was not acknowledged as a leader during this time because he was an openly gay Black man.
