When Grief (life) is Complicated: extra care is needed
Presenters: Rev. Mark Pedigo / Rev. David Loofbourrow
Most of the time, we can work through our emotions on our own and with the support of friends and family. But there can be times when stress, dramatic loss, personal/physical trauma or an accumulation of grief becomes overwhelming. This is when we likely need to enlist professional help. Rev. Pedigo and Rev. Loofbourrow will lead a 'who/what/why' discussion of mental health care options: how to know when it is needed, where to choose an appropriate source and type of care, and understanding how one works with the therapist or counselor. Familiarity with mental health resources can be life-saving.
