Sunday Morning Worship - Fourth Sunday of Advent

On this fourth Sunday of Advent the Lattanzi family will lead us in lighting the candle of Peace!

The peace of God allows us to look at others through heaven’s eyes and help guide the world to see God’s here and not-yet here kingdom. Peace from God, biblical peace, allows us to trust in God’s promises (Proverbs 3:5), through restful, tranquil faith, despite the dark, scary world around us.

This Sunday we will also collect the Christmas Fund/Veterans of the Cross special offering as a way to support active and retired clergy and lay leaders of the UCC who work at or have retired from churches that struggle to support them financially. This offering provides emergency grants, supplements retirement annuities, helps with health care premiums and gives “Thank You” checks to the lowest income retirees. These financial needs have increased dramatically with Covid-19.  Please be as generous as you can.

Rev. Colin Knapp will be leading worship and preaching. Our focus scriptures are Psalm 89:1-4, 19-26 and Luke 1:26-38. We hope you will join us.
