Adult Education at Pilgrim is a wonderful resource and sustenance for anyone on a faith journey. Meeting in the chapel at 9:45 am Sunday mornings from September to May, it is a time for adults to come together and gather strength for the journey, from God and from each other. Every season of adult education has a theme and session, ranging from Bible study, storytelling, and presentations on contemporary issues both global and local. Occasionally, the adult education planning committee also organizes events for times other than Sunday morning to reach a wider population of learners. Please come join us sometime!
Children and Youth
A unique worship experience, CONNECT, takes place each Sunday following the Children's Message during our morning worship. At that time in the service, our youth (ages 4-18) are invited to leave the service and continue the worship experience that has been specially designed for them. Our goal is to continue the worship experience in a more engaging way for our youth, and, using the Seasons of the Spirit worship material that is used in our worship service. Here at Pilgrim, we want the morning worship experience to be enriching and engaging for all of our church family so join us as we stay Connected with God through story, art, music, and service each Sunday.
Throughout the year we provide opportunities for family and intergenerational events, musical opportunities and a variety of enrichment activities for our youth. Each summer in July we offer a free 4-day Vacation Bible School evening program featuring storytelling, crafts, science, music and games for ages 3-14.
Nursery care during Sunday services is available downstairs for children birth-4 years old. Our professional and caring staff begin receiving children at 9:30 am in the Gate Room, lower level, just off the fellowship hall. Children may be taken to the nursery at any point before or during the service, as needed.
