About Pilgrim
Pilgrim Congregational Church in Oak Park, Illinois is a member of the United Church of Christ, a worldwide, progressive Protestant denomination.
We are an active and community focused congregation, founded in 1874. Our centrally-located building was dedicated in 1889 and remains Oak Park’s oldest continuously operating place of worship.
You will be welcomed at Pilgrim. We are a distinct and diverse community of Christians that who come together as one church, joining faith and action.
Through God's call, we center in the Gospel, care for each other, and, foster social justice.
Pilgrim’s members don’t all look alike or think alike or act alike. You are also not required to leave your questions about God and faith at home.
